Opening days are always exciting…especially when they happen on a Wednesday!
Today had a little more thrill than usual as the newest addition to our fleet of ships, the OSS (Our Savior’s Service) Marigold, was revealed during waterfront orientation.
While every opening day includes an introduction to the rules down at the lake, this particular group of Sonrise campers got to see the new water kayak off on her maiden voyage. In addition to canoes and rowboats, campers will get the opportunity to sail away on the OSS Marigold with the assistance of their counselors.
I’d give it a spin (or should I say stroke) myself, but my armor rusts so easily!

Kennedy and Haley....I can see your ponytails in this picture!! I can't find Noah and Zach though..whatever did you two do with the boys:) Have an awesome time and take it all in! You are in good hands.
